Cancer Full Moon Cycle

Navigating Post-Holiday Stress with the Help of the Cosmos

It's been a busy holiday season, but as a life coach and wellness mentor, I know that it's important to maintain my routine even amidst the chaos. Does that make it easier, no! And that’s why we have to be able to create consistency and anchors in a sturdy foundation that’s been given our honest time and efforts to help ground us in our core values. The Cancer full moon brings a calming but can feel heavy to those stuck in the go-go-go unable to rest, relax yin energy to help replenish our nervous systems, which have been drained from the energy, time, and planning we've put into our loved ones. For those who may have felt alone or struggled with family interactions, the holiday season can be especially difficult. However, this is the perfect time to reflect on the year that has passed and make sense of what has transpired.

As a life coach, I don’t claim to be an astrologist, but I believe in the power of the cosmos to provide guidance and insight. Unfortunately, in our heavily brainwashed society, many people are turned away from the amazing modalities that can help us become free-thinking creative geniuses. But every human holds the potential to awaken their dormant cells, holding genetic information within their DNA and RNA. It's time to dive into ourselves, understand our makeup, and unlock our true potential.

One way to do this is by practicing self-care through communication with our very own cells; daily journaling, meditation, exercise, getting out into nature, eating healthy fuel, drinking lots of water, and mindfulness to name a few. Taking moments to stop, tune in, organize all that’s happening, and process each experience, interaction, and action momentarily to focus on your breath, clear your mind, and get your higher self managing your matter can help you connect with your inner self and gain a better understanding of your day-to-day ideas, thoughts, emotions, and actions. You can also explore different forms of self-expression, such as singing, painting, or dancing all of which help our water element that represents the Cancer zodiac sign. These activities can help you tap into your creativity and release any pent-up emotions creating stagnancy, especially when done with communication with yourselves.

Another important aspect of navigating post-holiday stress is setting boundaries. It's okay to say no to social events or commitments if you feel overwhelmed or know they do not align with your morals. Prioritizing your own value, needs and well-being is crucial, especially during a time when it's easy to get caught up or pulled in the demands of others. Remember, self-care isn't selfish, it's necessary for maintaining a healthy and balanced life.

Ultimately, the key to navigating post-holiday stress is to approach it with an open mind, compassionate, and a willingness to learn. The cosmos can provide guidance and support, but it's up to us to take action and make positive changes in our lives. By practicing self-care, setting boundaries, and exploring our inner selves, we can emerge from the holiday season feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to take on whatever comes our way.
